We Officially Have Crabs, Tree Removal Service Professionals

And the party don't stop, no...

After discovering how easy it was to play Red Lobster at home, Mr. Smith and I decided on Saturday night to have an impromptu dinner party with the Masons and Kristina. Any guesses as to what was on the menu?

time to dig in...

marty enjoys some nice crab

as does mr. smith

the boys are stunned at how much crab they've consumed...

But are hungry for more! So much so that everyone....

gets in a fight over the last crab claw!
After supper, Shawn noticed that I had nicked her balloons she left in the restaurant for Marty's birthday party the night before (happy birthday tomorrow, Marty!) We all made a few jokes about being kids and talking funny on helium breath and noticed... Kristina wasn't laughing. The phenomena was new to her. Well. There's nothing left to be done but:

give her a tutorial
The result? You guessed it...

hilarity ensued....

Later that evening when the news came on, a fundraiser was featured. We all promptly were elated to see our friends featured at the fundraiser! Don't Tabby and JP look debonair?

knoxville's finest, ladies and gents... they can't be bothered to look at the camera so please don't ask.

Now, some of you may know that my father's a.... um.... bit of a fanatic when it comes to firewood (as previously evidenced here and here). He's also extremely generous with firewood with the codicil that what comes around goes around. If he needs help hauling logs and you've accepted firewood in the most recent 12 months - well, buddy, consider yourself fair game (see here).

Well, this weekend was time to pay the piper. Three trees this time!

mr. smith, moi, ki, clay and dipsey rise to the occasion

and at the end of the day, dispey is pleased with the sweat of our brows

All righty then! Off to go visit with Mr. Smith a bit before nighty-nite time! Smooches!
