I Eat Too Much

It um... didn't occur to me until I just downloaded all my photos for the week that I eat. A lot. A lot a lot. I'm a little embarrassed rightaboutnow...

On Thursday, I got a hankering for some junk food and Mr. Smith was happy to indulge me in my craving. We zipped out at lunchtime for a visit to a long-time South Knox establishment:

kay's ice cream is delicious. it is still open - any time i mention kay's i get a lot of "they're still OPEN?" they ARE.

Thursday night we were lucky enough to score four seats at a New Belgium beer class at the UT Visitor's Center! Mr. Smith, me, Amanda and John all attended, and it was lead by Tennessee Tourism Fancy Pants of the Year, Dr. Carol Costello!

And you know Amanda has to nerd up any learning opportunity, no matter how cool it may be:

I'll tell you what I learned that night: that good beer is sessionable. That and if you eat a cheeseburger for lunch and this for supper:

On Saturday, Mr. Smith went out of town to attend a concert! Kristina was kind enough to display her zombie ass-kicking skills and invited me, along with a bunch of other ladies, over for a slumber party! First things first: food (of course). We all make our own individual baby pizzas!

Well, that's it for the week. It's suppertime and SHOCKINGLY I'm starving. Did I mention I'm starting to hit high miles in my marathon training? If it sits still for longer than two minutes, I'm likely going to put it in my mouth and try to eat it. Today for instance, I ate breakfast, lunch #1 at 10:30, lunch #2 at 12:15 and am now raring to shove supper down my gullet. Sigh. Wish me luck.
