All about ME (Megan Emily)

Last of the childhood hilarity, peeps...

Among the other papers, cards, tests, Lice Books, etc. Was this little gem. Mrs. Burchfield (4th grade teacher) had us write over the course of a year a book describing ourselves. She had a suggestion for each "chapter," such as "Some Goals I Am Trying To Reach," or "What I Have Learned This Year." About halfway through the year it was apparent I was DONE with this exercise because the second half of the "chapters" consisted of one sentence each. I've pulled the winners from the bunch...

All About M(egan) E(mily)

huh. that's what i don't like about myself. my blue eyes and my blonde hair. DISGUSTING.

well. what'd she expect? not much a nine-year-old can do....

um... i still play with things and break them. if i had to enumerate the things i've broken in the ensuing 27 years, this blog post would take three days to write...

aw. still have a mom and dad that love me, still love getting off on holidays, snow days and weekends, still love riding bikes and sliding down waterslides and playing outside. nine-year-old megan, you got it ALL! YEA!!!

aw, man... still afraid of scary books and movies. i hate having to get up to pee in the night because i will more than likely remember a scary movie scene while peeing and have to run back to bed in terror and pull the covers over my head. (for real. 6th sense was a bad idea, yo...)

self explanatory. mrs. burchfield, i think your request from the past has been honored...

i loved me some stacy harvey, ya'll - she was my best friend as a little girl

see?

this is regressing, but it's a real winner. take the time to read - i've always been the literary type obviously.

All right - I'll not torture you anymore with my blasts from the past! Hope everyone has a great week!
