Photo Dump!

All week I took pictures with my phone (her name is Judy) and when I downloaded all the pics on her, I realized there was a lot of info on her seeing as how a picture is worth a thousand words and all that jazz. So, tonight please enjoy a visual montage of the last year in Megan:

Dipsey Doodle giving the commencement address to the College of Communication and Information; May 2009

in case you missed it, THE MOST ADORABLE PICTURE OF NIECE LUCY EVER IN THE WORLD.

my friend jenny made me fabulous halloween garland for my fireplace!

this is like a gagillion years old; i got a sneak peek from the mcclung museum

release! the! kracken! (poster)

tommy informs me that dc comics invented a lantern of every color, not just green anymore. some are good, some are bad. i think all rings are PRETTY on one hand!

And here, to catch you up to date!

our toilet broke (read: i broke it) and i successfully removed the ball cock see? upon showing it to cutie pie lowe's associate i was asked urgently by said lowe's associate if i had drained the tank previously. i replied that while i may be blonde, i understood how gravity works. i took apart, tommy put back together; excellent division of labor (i'm good at tearing up things, peeps)

Last night, Max and Lucy came over for supper and I dumped a bag of Mardi Gras beads out for them to play with and select which beads to take home. It. Was. Adorable.

she put all this on herself

very sweet: i told her she could take home whatever she wanted to and she kept asking with every strand of beads, "have it?" the teddy bear she kept showing and saying "love him." ADORABLE.

When Tommy was a child going to Mardi Gras, he always coveted catching overgrown novelty items like scissors, sunglasses or toothbrushes. Well, seeing as how we knew someone in a position of power this year (ahem, Tom Smith, I'm looking at you) we got the hizzook up. Please see what was left on our pillows in New Orleans one morning:

brusha, brusha, brusha!

Guess what were prize finds for Max and Lucy?

lucy understands the importance of oral hygiene

All right peeps! That's all I got for now!!
