Last week I got to do something I have been dying to do for months, and preparing to do for a couple of years. I finally had enough hair to give to Locks of Love. And it was about time; my hair has been driving me BANANAS. Although I had been talking about doing this since about December, when I got to the salon and told Cindy Lou what I had in mind, she balked. Next, it's time to go to Hero's Con! It's held in Charlotte every summer and it's usually the only comic convention I attend throughout the year. It's super fun visiting with everyone!

I actually don't spend a lot of time at the show. I like to walk around and see the city. They had a sculpture garden that I found the first day:

when it was time to go, they all piled on the front porch and waved me goodbye. |
But birthday fun was ONLY BEGINNING!! We went out to supper to a fancy seafood restaurant and the Mettlers, JD and Amy, bought us a nice bottle of wine! THEN....
